I've fixed it in clutter-sharp/clutter (and will fix it in clutter-cairo
shortly), by using a clutter-source.xml.in template file.
I also changed the build system not to recurse into the gapi/ directory
when building, but only when making a release (so it'll end up in the
tarball, even though we can leave it on SVN only) because we don't want
to overwrite the changes inside the src/*.cs files with every build.
if there's a way to add overrides (like in python) we could simply
re-add the gapi/ directory to the build.
